Nominations are now open for NABJ’s 2026 Awards. Nominations for Salute to Excellence, Hall of Fame and Special Honors will be accepted until 11:59 PM (PT) on February 18, 2026. The deadline will not be extended.

The NABJ Hall of Fame recipients are selected by a special selection committee and the NABJ Board of Directors.


The NABJ Hall of Fame and Special Honors awards will be announced and distributed at our annual convention in Atlanta. Salute to Excellence awards are mailed after winner entries are verified.


NABJ convention registrants will be able to purchase their tickets for the NABJ Salute to Excellence Gala and Hall of Fame Induction Luncheon through the registration form or Attendee Service Center.

No, due to our 501(c)3 status, we are unable to accept the booth registrations from any government agencies.


No, we do not offer any vendor/sales booths at the career fair. The career fair is strictly for career/education recruitment, networking and exhibiting business & services.

The headquarters hotel for #NABJ26 is the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. The address is 265 Peachtree Center Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30303.


The #NABJ26 discounted standard and double room rate is $199 + tax. In order to be guaranteed the group rates, all room reservations must be made on or before Friday, July 17, 2026 cut-off date. After the cut-off date, the Hotel will determine whether or not it can accept reservations at the NABJ group rate based on space and rate availability.


Upon booking your reservation, your credit card will be charged a deposit equal to the first night's room and tax.


The hotel requires a cancellation notice to be provided at least 72 hours prior to the arrival date. If the guest cancels the reservation within this time frame, there will be no penalties. However, if the reservation is canceled less than 72 hours before the arrival date, the guest will forfeit the cost of the first night's room and tax.


No, we do not offer roommate-matching services.

Professional/Emerging/Alumni/Academic/Media-Related member registration cancellations received on or before July 1, 2026, will be eligible for a refund, less a $125 administration fee ($35.00 for students).


Yes, we offer early-bird registration discounts for current members and attendees to attend the convention. Please watch our eblasts, website and social media pages for announcements on early-bird deadlines.


Yes, you can transfer your registration by July 1, 2026. Click HERE to review the requirements and submit your transfer request.


You will need to pick up your name badge along with convention materials when you arrive at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. Your name badge serves as entry to all convention functions except invitation-only events. The #NABJ26 registration desk is located in M103-105.


#NABJ26 attendees must wear their convention issued badges at ALL TIMES.

Special Events

To purchase special event tickets, please use the #NABJ26 Convention and Career Fair Attendee Service Center (ASC). The ASC is your one-stop resource to everything regarding your convention registration. From the ASC you can:

• Register an additional guest
• Purchase special event tickets
• Pay outstanding balances


Please review the instructions below before accessing the Registration link to update your registration. Use the registration access information located in your registration confirmation email.

Add an Additional Guest or Special Event Tickets:

  1. Log in to the ASC: https://www.nabjconvention.com/asc_login.cfm
  2. Enter your registration username and password.
  3. From the In This Section left-side menu, select Registration Fee Update
  4. Then click the Edit button next to your name. Make your selections for event tickets or adding a guest.
  5. After making your selections, click Continue at the bottom of the page to review your registration details. Once confirmed, click Continue to proceed to payment.
  6. Enter your credit card information and click Complete Registration.
  7. After successful payment processing, you will receive an updated confirmation for your records.

Pay an Outstanding Balance by Credit Card:
  1. Log in to the ASC: https://www.nabjconvention.com/asc_login.cfm
  2. Enter your registration username and password.
  3. From the In This Section left-side menu, select Registration Payment
  4. Confirm your payment method in the drop down menu
  5. Type your payment amount in the Amount to Apply column
  6. Click the Green Check icon
  7. Enter payment information
  8. Click Submit


Volunteer

#NABJ26 volunteer application and deadline coming soon.


No, volunteers are expected to work the convention and not attend the programming and events. Only paid registrants can attend the #NABJ26 programming and events.
